'Art on the Out' was a creative session we piloted in the community on Wednesday mornings

Currently this is not running.

We have been looking at developing our work in the community and piloted a small creative session on Wednesday Mornings called ‘Art on the Out’ led by art tutor Ralph.

This was specifically aimed at ex-offenders and also those in recovery from substance abuse, mental ill health or a life crisis event. The session catered for a maximum of x8 people.

‘Art on the Out’ ran for 2.5 hours duration on Wednesday mornings at Hope Chapel in Hotwells as a part of their Wednesday programme.)

Unfortunately we could not consistently get the numbers of attendees requried to make this session viable and so are currently not running these sessions.

However if you would be interested in attending future sessions,

or are interested in our work in this area, please contact us.

In line with our approach and vision these creative sessions were a part of our project and not a course. There was no certification qualification, board, or syllabus involved. Rather the sessions focused on the needs of the individual and encouraging their own artistic potential and expression. A creative/theme starting point was provided for the sessions as were a range of materials. The working and learning environment was informal.

To register interest in attending a initial taster session,  or for further information please contact us by email

Alternatively leave a message on 07721 064440 and we will get back in touch with you as soon as is possible.

Mentoring offenders and ex-offenders to find not only a new creativity, but a new life

The total UK Prison Population in 2018 was

84,405 in England and Wales, 78,844 males.

The cost to the tax payer of reoffending is estimated to be £9.5 to £13 billion annually.

Around half of all crime is commited by people who have already been through the criminal justice system.

Our work is dependent on voluntary funding and grants

Please help keep this vital work going.
